Bertie

Originally from England, Bertie grew up sailing and spending time on the water, developing a lifelong passion for the sea. An avid sailor, he holds his RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and brings strong seamanship, navigation, and leadership skills to his role as First Mate. Before joining M/Y Euphoria, Bertie gained valuable experience working on both motor and sailing yachts, as well as leading flotilla sailing holidays where he oversaw multiple guest vessels and ensured safe and enjoyable cruising for guests. His background has given him extensive experience in navigation, tender driving, deck operations, water sports and guest interaction. Friendly, energetic, and always ready with a good sense of humour, Bertie enjoys helping guests make the most of their time on the water. When he’s not on deck, you’ll likely find him sailing, enjoying water sports, staying active, or exploring new destinations.
